Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Driving responsibility of Fraud Control Unit including investigations, vigilance, Risk assessment and process improvements for risk mitigation, Implementation of detective, corrective and preventive measures to plug process/design gaps.
  • Conducting Investigations stemming from a variety of internal and external referrals including whistle blowers, market intelligence.
  • Data analytics to detect frauds or trends.
  • Leading team of investigators and local ethics counsellors in investigation of misconduct/ethical matter. Coordination with legal team and compliance team in various matters.
  • Imparting training to drive risk alertness and high integrity culture among employees.
  • Recovery of misappropriated amounts from employees/vendors.
  • Strong public speaking and presentation skills, comfortable working in a fast paced, dynamic, start-up culture; proven exposure of working off hours, weekends and holidays to support emergency matters.
  • Brings a well-developed network of contact in Government sector across law enforcement institutions.
  • Skilled in conceptualizing, formulating and implementing fraud prevention procedures and controls to ensure adherence to statutory guidelines and standard government norms.
  • Successfully investigated and remained associated with numerous important cases of national and international ramifications while working in the Special Crime Branch of Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).
