Description

As an Applications .Net Technical Lead at Liberty, you will be developing and supporting existing Liberty applications. Additionally, work towards integrating broker firms with Liberty API services as per regulatory guidelines and requirements by the Liberty Business teams. You will work with Project Managers, Underwriters, Developers and QA professionals to deliver the very best in general insurance.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop overall technical strategies for external client projects from technical requirements.
  • Communicate with external clients on a regular basis regarding progress, challenges, timelines, and end results of client projects.
  • Create technical estimations, (CI/CD)
  • Create technical designs (Data Flow Diagrams, Data Flow Designs, Low Level Architecture Design Diagrams)
  • Present technical strategies to clients and gather technical requirements as needed.
  • Create and update design and functional documents.
  • Identify and troubleshoot issues as needed.
  • Perform a mix of maintenance and new development as required.
  • Implement project applications according to specifications.
  • Research technical issues and provide recommendations to enhance API integrations.
  • Work both independently and as part of a team towards API integrations with partners.
  • Unit test code to ensure quality.
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects and shifting priorities.
  • Perform code review sessions with other developers and suggest improvements or alternate approaches when appropriate.
  • Assist project managers and directors with the creation of task-level project plans that detail the specific tasks required to deliver a solution.
  • Work closely with project managers and account managers to ensure that client expectations are met and that the team adheres to project schedules and budgets.
  • Liaise with Operations Team towards problem resolution and RCA identification.

 

Experience/Skills:

  • Minimum 3 to 5 years hands-on experience in software design and development, database design and development, and system integration.
  • Experience in developing ASP.NET MVC | ASP.NET Core MVC applications.
  • Senior knowledge of Entity Framework 6.* | EF Core | NHibernate | ADO.NET.
  • Proficient knowledge in MSSQL | MySQL | Oracle | other RDBMS.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL server data tools SSDT, SSRS, SSIS, etc.
  • Hands-on experience working on Dev-Ops tools like Github, Jenkins, CICD Pipeline (for deployment purposes).
  • Ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
  • Iterative approach to development, using short development cycles and frequent builds.
  • Ability to develop secure solutions and knowledge of industry best practices regarding information security and defensive development.

Qualifications

Post-Graduate/Graduate (IT Qualification Required: BE IT/BCA/MCA preferred or/and Certified Course from reputed IT institutes)
