Description

This position uses business and technical knowledge to participate in the re-engineering of business operations to improve business results. The Business Analyst evaluates business requirements or system requirements, analyzes and documents business problems of moderate complexity, performs user acceptance testing to approve new system behaviors, and coordinates upgrades and rollouts of moderate scope.

 

Requirement:

  • 5-6 years of minimum experience in the relevant field.
  • Type of Industry: General Insurance
  • Specific knowledge of any area – Motor & Commercial, Health (U/W, Endorsement, Claim) understanding.
  • Business Understanding

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with the management to collect, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
  • Managing end to end requirements of the Business for New & existing products.
  • Build strong relationships through engagement with vendors, colleagues, and other key stakeholders across all stages of the system development life cycle.
  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders to facilitate and positively influence solution development and ongoing support.
  • Undertake business requirements investigation, analysis, and solution design in accordance with assigned initiatives and work. Lead the articulation of business needs and the facilitation of business and system solutions.
  • Analyze business processes, existing systems, and requirements, develop functional specifications, and perform gap analysis of existing information systems. Identify and resolve problems to provide continuous support to business operations.
  • Engage in compilation and/or validation of system requirements and process documentation to ensure feasibility and traceability of requirements.
  • Liaise with development and testing teams during all steps of software development lifecycle to provide necessary support in understanding requirements.
  • Assist the team in clarification required from business related to various products of Business.
  • Perform user acceptance testing and approving new system behaviors to ensure alignment with business objectives and test plans
  • Assists in communications with customers both internal and external (e.g., vendors, business partners and Information Technology)
  • Contributes to the completion of project plan.

Qualifications

Acedemic Qualification: Any Bachelor's Degre/Post Graduation
