Description

Primary Responsibilities KRA’s


1. Reinsurance Accounting and Analytics, which includes accumulation tracking and payment & recovery management

 

2. Treaty Renewal Activities:

    1. Preparation of infopack for treaty renewals as required by reinsurers/brokers.
    2. Analysis of the CAT Modelling report & working out CAT limit to be purchased.
    3. Quote comparison & analysis
    4. Analysis of Treaty Terms & Conditions & Co-ordinating with respective underwriters.
    5. Compliance of order of preference
    6. Reinsurance Programme Set up in all systems viz GC and Health Buzz

 

3. Treaty Management:

    1. Treaty slips / endorsement slips management
    2. Calculation of XOL Claims Recovery, Cash Call Recovery, Sliding Scale Commission, Loss Corridor, Profit Commission, Adjustment Premium, etc.
    3. Tracking of Treaty Achievements & Performance

 

4. Facultative Management

    1. Facultative Inward – Overview the process and have checks and balances in place
    2. Facultative Outward Placement –Seeking quotes from various reinsurers, negotiation, clarification of queries, etc.
    3. Preparation & Maintenance of Fac Slips / Endorsements
    4. Compliance of order of preference

 

5. Compliance - Governance & Control

    1. IRDA Reports submission – Annual, Half Yearly, Adhoc
    2. Compliance of Reinsurance Regulations
    3. Adherence to GRM protocol for reports and compliance
    4. Providing data / clarification sought by GRS
